Black & white print attached to cream colored matboard which has been cut off even with print edge. Image shows a covered bank wire and wood cage area with decorative lower level wood base. There are two men behind the cage & two men outside the cage at window with each leaning on the counter edge (one on each side of the window). An embossed sign in the railing over the cage window reads: Cashier. There is a decorative open wood short railing at left of room which divides a section of the room into office space behind which is a wooden desk where a heavy set bearded man is seated in a chair with his left arm resting on the desk & his right arm resting on the chair arm. Wooden floor & white walls of room are sparten. Two framed portraits hang on wall at side left. A closed door is at rear of room & a light colored writing shelf is at side right.
Written on back in blue ink: Rawlins National Bank in the (Osborne Building)? This bank was established June 9 , 1899. I. C. Miller, seated; J. C. Davis, standing. Frank Hadsell, standing, Inside office - Jim Rendle, cashier man behind Rendle unknown.
In black ink: Believed to be in Murphy Ready Building Front & 5th Sts, Photo taken c.1900. inside Jim Rendle cashier. one back of Mr. Rendle unknown. Other writing on back.
Good condition. Wear on corner edges. Some bent corners. Slight dimpling at various areas, minor scratches, fingerprints & slight scuffs. Smudges on backside.
