Stone marker, 1895 where Vincent and Widdowfield were killed.
Update 2/2008: Black and white print. Snapshot. Image of a cairn of stones placed in an open field with trees in the background. Carved on large rectangular stone at center of pile:"Robt. Widdowfield of Carbon Wyo and Tip Vincent of Rawlins, Wyo murdered here August 19, 1878." Irregular flat stone with carving at front of pile: "Arected[sic] by James Fisher Carbon Wyo 1895".
Written on back in green ink: "Photo taken by Muriel Crawford of the Hanna Elk Mt.. Girl Scout Troop during the G.S. Camp at Rattlesnake Dam in the Summer of 1926".
"Joe Fisher an old timer of the area whose cabin was close by the dam took the girls and leaders to this spot with his team of horses and wagon."
