Red scrapbook with newspaper clippings, religious writings, stories and poems made by either Stella or Lillie Jungquist. 1905-1928. Large red book, 12 1/2 x 17 inches with a red cord tie on spine. All items are glued inside. Condition good. Some pages loose inside scrapbook. All loose items are in an overage folder, File Cabinet 7, Drawer 4.
Some items in folder include: 1/12/1917-Clipping of marriage of Charles H. Whittum and Mrs. Julia Ferris-Miller; Lillian Jordan married Mr. Ellifison; Stage Coach from John Swanson Ranch purchased by W. L. Petrikin of Denver who presented it to Wells College of Aurora, N. Y. (Wells Fargo Company was printed over the door); a Christmas card from Mrs. Galavin; Clipping on A. B. "Uncle Billy" Hildreth; Clipping on view of Fort Bridger and oil well, photo taken 1876; Scribner book catalog from the 1920's; newspaper photo of Jim Baker, the Great Bear Killer. Many of the clippings have nothing to do with Rawlins or Carbon County and or simply trivia or something meaningful to the collector.Collection
