Blue 1900 Census Book, Volume 1 with many clippings, etc. in it. Updated 2018: A 9.5" x 11.75" blue published 12th Census of the United States book (1900 census) used as a scrapbook with clippings glued to the printed pages of the book. 3/4 of the end of the book has no clippings. Cover has soiling and blistering, shelf wear, and detached spine. There are many clippings concerning World War II and military matters, nature clippings, etc. that are not listed.

Page 1 has 6 clippings about the Green, Grand and Colorado River Transportation Company organized by Judge Homer Merrell, Dr. E. Stuver, and others. The page back has 4 clippings on the launch of the Major Powell Steam Boat.
Page 2-7 contains more clippings on the steamship and the trips. It is noted that Judge Merrell found ancient pottery in the Cliff Dwellings of the trip and donated them to the University.
