Print 1. View of a dam from downstream with overflow tunnel spewing water at right. "Shoshone Dam Cody Road to Yellowstone 1c.(1926 Lucier, Powell, WYO".
Written on back in black ink: "The outlet thru which the water rushes out at rate of 325 thousand cubic feet an hour is cut thru 250 feet of solid stone at a cost of 3/4 million dollars. The dam is of cement, 450 feet high, & 45 feet wide".
Slightly wrinkled & warped.

Written on back in black ink: "These canyons are 1,600 feet in height & of solid store beautifully colored by nature in her happy moments".

Written on back in black ink: "This road is 400 feet higher near the dam than it is at the bottom of the picture. It is a dangerous climb for an auto but the only entrance to the Park from the East."
