Taken at the Mahoney place. Black Gus, moonshiner, Less Ferguson: stage driver from Nine Mile Hill to Riverton and dog named Turk, 1915-1920
UPDATE 2009: Black and white photo. Photo has two men and one dog. First man is standing holding a bucket in his right hand, wearing a dark 3 piece suite and dark hat. Second man is to his left and is wearing a dark suit jacket an hat, with light pants. The dog is lying on the ground on the far right. They appear to be in a field setting up a camp. There is a bucket in the foreground. Empty (2) whiskey bottles thrown about. one more bucket holding down the corner of tarps. Man one has a blue "+" over his right shoulder. Man two has a blue "Z" over his right shoulder and the dog is labeled "3" above his head. There is also a cardboard box in front of the dog. There is also a stream in the background.
On the back in blue ink: 2 Less Furgson stage driver to run from nine mile hill Riverton. 3. Turk. 4. Place Mahoney Lakes (?) north end.

Condition is poor. Broken corner front top right. Glue on front of picture. On back black paper glued to back and then tried to remove from a scrap book, torn edges of black paper.Collection
