Taken about 1889-1895. Lots 12, 13, 14 of 400 Block North Front. Built in summer of 1872 by James France for his mercantile business. East 1/3 of building site of H.C. Hall and Company. First business building north of Tracks in 1869. West 2/3 of block built about 1873. East 1/3 about 1879. Rawlins.
Update - 2009: Sepia tone print on matboard. J. W. Hugus building on 400 block of Front Street. building is multi-level with 9 arch windows on 2nd floor. Lower level has large window & 3 entrances. Sign on upper level: "Bank". Sign above 1st level: "J.W. Hugus &Co." A line of about 30 people are on store board walk posing for photo. In an upper window on photo left two people can be seen, one sitting with his feet out of window.

Condition: Good. Liquid stain, emulsion impacted, soiled, scratched, accretion, right edge paper missing & top left.
