400 Block of Cedar, North view, April, 1887. Work began on Gormley Building, NW Corner of 4th and Cedar. August, 1888 E.T. Burke and Company into east half. West half of building first occupied by Wallace and Company, Feb. 1889. Photograph is 1908. Lots 12, Block 14 West half Carl Bryant Meat, July 1890. Waightom and Reh, Jan. 1899. Eastman in Dec. 1904. In 1908 this car went around the world and across the Platte on UPRR.
Update - 2009: Black & white print card of 400 Block of Cedar St. Image is of vintage car that is long & open. There is a man standing in the back & a flag is draped over back of car. A person is seated with their back to photographer. Car is in front of "Eastmans Cash Store". Other signs on building: "Dry Goods and Notions" "Shoes and Clothing". On awnings: "Stationery" "Fancy Goods" "Shoes and Clothing". Another building down the street with sign that reads: "Home Bakery". there are a group of people standing in street. On side building: "Ladies and Gents Furnishings".

Written in blue ink: "Cedar & third Sts." third is crossed out and "Fourth" is written in. "This car went around the world & went across the Platte on the UPRR bridge 1908".
Printed in black ink: "POST CARD" "CORRESPONDENCE HERE" "NAME AND ADDRESS HERE" Postmark in circle" "Walcott WYO Aug 18 1908. Only partial stamp remains.
Condition: Good. Corners bent, top right torn off, creased, soiled, emulsion impacted by postmark.Collection
