Black & white print on a green mat of a steam engine pulling mostly passenger cars, rounding a slight curve with Rawlins cut behind the train. Two men on photo right are by a tri-pod with camera & wood crates at their feet. Steam is bellowing from smoke stack of engine "1844" Print is inside the outline of the Union Pacific Railroad Shield.
Written on back mat that has been cut down: "Around 1900 or 1902 man with gaters named Homer[cut off] the photographer. I think [cut off] an early day photographer.
Good condition. Mat cut down, scratched, liquid spots, fingerprints, lower right corner bent.
