Update 2008: 10 black and white prints. Small studio portraits. Head and shoulder shots. 11 separate images.
1. Image of a man and woman both looking down. Man is standing behind and to the left of the woman. He is dressed in a dark double breasted suit, white shirt and cravat. Woman is in dark dress with beaded or applique bodice and shoulder and white collar. Her hair is pinned up. 1 3/7 x 7/8.
Mounted on acidic matboard cut to image edge. Edge and corner damage. Surface scuffed and soiled. Left edge wrinkled.
2. Strip of two images. Portrait of woman at top. Portrait of young girl at bottom. Woman is dressed in dark dress with applique edging on bodice top and collar. Her hair is severely pulled back and pinned up. Girl is dressed in long sleeved white dress decorated with ruffles and lace. Written on back in pencil: "6" 2" x 13/16" Soiled and scuffed. Good.
3. Image of young woman wearing a hat and dressed in dark dress with tall ruffled collar. Two large buttons one at each shoulder. 1 1/4 x 7/8. Wrinkled emulsion cracked vertically through center and at center right side. Surface badly scratched. Back soiled. Fair.
4. Image of a young girl wearing a medium colored dress with gathered bodice puffy sleeves and white horizontal piping at shoulders, neckline and collar. Painted backdrop behind. 1 1/4 x 7/8. Image surface soiled at center bottom; scratched. Good.
5. Image of a young woman wearing dark dress with puffed sleeves, white neck insert and high collar. patterned ribbon tied in a bow at neck. Watch chain on chest. 15/16 x 3/4. Upper and lower right corners bent-emulsion cracked. Edge and corner damage. Emulsion scratched and crazed. Back soiled. Fair.
6. Image of a toddler dressed in white and holding a small doll. Child is seated on a patterned cushion or chair. Written on back in pencil: "s r". 1 1/16 x 3/4. Emulsion cracked and scratched throughout. Edge and corner damage. Writing on back impacting emulsion through center. Back soiled. Faded. Fair.
