Update March 2011: Black & white studio portrait on a grey & brown mat. Image of a man & woman seated on a chair. The man wears a dark, three piece suit, white shirt, light print tie. He is seated on the arm of the chair. The lady wears a light colored, satin looking dress. The top is ornate with pleats, soutache braid overlay, covered buttons, cap over long sleeves. The waist is gathered & the skirt is full with covered buttons down the front. She is sitting in the seat of a wood chair with her left arm on the chair arm. The background is an outdoor scene studio prop.
Embossed in brown on lower right corner: "Photo By Jukes" A coat of arms shield with crossed blades & a lion & crown is embossed on bottom center. The mat is two tone. Grey center with brown border.
On white tag attached to bottom is typed: "Alfred Gronlund and his wife"
Written in black on back: "Alfred Gronlund and wife in sheep business with his father" "Mother of Oscar Hall"
Good condition. Scuffed, mat worn on top right corner, liquid spots left border.
