An 8.25" x 10.5" red velvet photograph album with metal clasp at side right with the closure fixture missing. Decorative black metal letters spell the word, "Album" diagonally across the front cover with part of the letter "m" missing. Pages of album are a green basket weave design with metallic gold lines framing the page and gold metallic lines framing the cabinet card pocket sleeves of the photographs. All page edges are gilded on the outside edges.
Photos are of the Engstrom Family, relatives and friends.
Page 1-Studio cabinet card of two women dressed in vintage black dresses with "leg o mutton" sleeves. Standing woman at left is identified as "Mom Betty". It is unclear if the woman's name is Betty or if Betty is the other woman. One of these women may be Betty Wahlberg Engstrom.

Page 7- An A. A. Brown studio cabinet card of a young baby wearing gown and baby bonnet in a vintage carriage. Carriage has metal wheels and see through slats. A large umbrella is placed at rear of carriage. Written in blue ink: RGE.

(research shows her as Breta Strandberg on baptismal record of daughter, Alma; Bretha Stranberg on 1900 census, and Bessie Strandberg on 1910 and1920 Census.

Page 14-Studio cabinet card of three men wearing three piece suits, dark hats and standing behind a wooden rail fence with one standing in the space of an open gate. Written on a note with photo: "L-Mom's Dad, my grandpa, (not mentioned but Gust Engstrom), next, Gus Larson. He was a boyfriend of Grandma's. Became very good friend of family and was in city gov't when mom was City Treasurer. (He) drove mom and me to Denver once when I was D. U. student. Wonderful old gentleman. I never knew Grandpa, died in 1918 flu epidemic." Man on right is unidentified.

The woman on the right is wearing a dark colored dress with vertical pleats and insert at neck. They both have decorative pins on the center of their collars. No identification.
Page 26-A very faded studio cabinet card of an unidentified young woman. She has her dark hair in an updo with a decorative pin at the back.
Page 27-Studio cabinet card of a toddler age girl wearing a long white dress with long sleeves and wide collar. Her hair is in ringlets with bangs. A floral back drop is seen with a lace cloth on the floor. No identification.
Page 28-Studio cabinet card of an unidentified couple with the man seated and the woman standing next to him. He is wearing a dark suit. She is wearing a dark dress with a white eyelet? ruffle on each side of the bodice.
Page 29- The last pages of the book are slotted for Carte-de-visite type photos and there are four to a page. The carte-de-visites on this page appear to have been taken in Sweden. All are unidentified except for photo of two young women on lower left of page. Two women are sitting side by side with a nature backdrop. One woman is sitting in a chair with a decorative arm and the other is in a railed chair with her hand resting on the decorative arm. Written on a note with photo: "Mother's sisters: Aunt Emma left Aunt Stina Kajsa right. The other photos are of a young man top left, young woman top right and a young man lower right.
Page 30-Top left slot contains a tintype of an unknown woman. Top right is a carte de visite showing a family consisting of a man, woman and two small children. Lower left is a young man and lower right is a group of three women in the woods.
Page 31-Top left slot contains a tintype of an unknown woman. The image has turned extremely dark. Top right is a carte de visite of a young man wearing a suit and posed with his arm on a pilaster.The image is silvering. Page 32-At top left is a tintype (extremely dark) of a young man. Written on the lower edge: "Anders Magnus." There is another line with a date in Swedish? Top right slot is blank. Lower left is a carte de visite with two young girls sitting together and leaning into each other. At lower right is a carte de visite of a young man wearing a suit.
