a. Carte de Visite, 3" x 4." Image of an unknown young man in a medium colored suit, white shirt, and tie. His hair is center parted. "Aug. Wahlstrom FALUN is printed at lower edge. Written on back in blue ink: "Mom's brother." Other printed photographer advertisements are printed on back in Swedish. At lower edge written in Swedish, "18.ar. 14, 91."
b. A 3" x 4" tintype in an cream colored mat frame of an unknown woman in a black dress with her hair parted in center and pulled back. She is wearing a light colored circular pin around her neck with a long chain hanging down the front bodice. Written on the back in blue ink: "Return." At lower edge: 26-ar.
c. Carte de Visite, 3" x 4." Image of two women in Swedish costume. They are wearing dark jumpers with white blouses. The blouses have long puffy sleeves. White head scarves are covering their hair and tied under the chin. Woman on right has a long braid hanging over her front shoulder. Printed at lower edge: "Martha Cederholm Orsa. Gilded edge of photo is extremely worn. Written on a white sticker on back: "In Swedish costume don't know who they are unmarked." Other printed photographer information is printed in Swedish on back.
d. A studio cabinet card taken by A. A. Brown, Photographer, Rawlins (printed on lower edge) of an unidentified young man. He is wearing a three piece dark suit, white shirt, tie and a dark hat. He is standing on a grassy floor with his left arm resting n a tree stump with a cigar in his hand. Behind him is a back drop of a frothing sea and a lighthouse in the distance. Photo taken 1903 or before.
e. A 5.25" x 7 3/8" black and white photograph on a black mat board. At lower right corner, "The Ferris Studio" is engraved in gilt. The image is of an unknown man dressed in a dark three piece suit a white shirt and white bow tie. He has a floral boutonniere on his left jacket lapel. He wears a small mustache. At his side left a young unknown woman has her right arm hooked through his. She is wearing a bridal gown with long sleeves and a high collar. There is a decorative bow at the center bodice with two long ribbon ties hanging down the front of the dress. The dress has five tiers of ruffles at the lower edge. She holds a bouquet in her left hand and has a small flower at her left shoulder.
f. A studio portrait of an unknown young toddler sitting in an elegant upholstered chair with dark wood arms. This child is wearing a long white dress with a large ruffled collar and necklace. An unknown little boy has his right arm draped on the edge of the chair arm. He has very light hair. He is dressed in white pants, a shirt with a ruffled collar and a large silk bowtie at neck. His left hand is placed on top of his right hand. The photo is attached to a decorative gray mat which has been cut off at lower edge.
g. A Carte de Visite, 3" x 4." Image shows a young woman with her dark hair pulled back in an updo. She is wearing a high neck, checked dress with a dark wide ribbon at side right on her bodice. A gold pin is seen at center neck of collar. Printed on photo at lower edge: Axel Aurelius, Grasmark. Written on back in blue ink, "Anna Betty's twin sister." This may refer to Betty Wahlberg who married Gust Engstrom. Other photographer printing is on back. This image was in an envelope with a card, "A happy Christmas to you from Anna tie Betty." Colored pansies decorate the card. The envelope reads: "Miss Betty Walberg," (Wahlberg) in black ink. Written in blue ink, "From Mom's twin sister, Anna Walberg." (Wahlberg) Written pencil, "My Grandma Engstrom's twin. She'd be my great aunt Anna and Lea Ann's and Lynn's great-great aunt."
g. A studio cabinet card taken by A. A. Brown, Photographer, Rawlins (printed on lower edge). Image shows a man with light colored eyes and a small mustache. He is dressed in a suit jacket, vest, patterned tie, and white shirt. Written on lower edge in blue ink: "Uncle John Bengstson. An Ancestry.com research document is placed in the Engstrom Family File, but he could belong to the Sjolin Family.
h. A black and white photograph of a dining room with heavy ornate china cabinets with various types of dishes on the shelves. A dark dining room table is at center of room with a large floral centerpiece. Ladder back chairs are seen at the rear of the room in front of a large picture window. A large open arched doorway separates the two areas. Decorative platters hang on the walls on either side of the arch. The image is all mottled and appears to be a copy. The back is soiled. Written in pencil on back, "Swedish dining room."Collection
