Black & white print on cream mat of a large multi-level brick building. Top floor has four dormer windows with carved gingerbread trim on roof edge of dormer that matches wood on end of a perpendicular roof. Spires are on top of dormers & perpendicular roof. Second level has four windows across the front & one arch window on the end of photo left. Protrusion of photo right side has two more arch windows. Lower level has a long covered porch, three arch windows on photo left side and two arch windows on photo right. Edge of porch roof is decorated with a bunting of small stars on three stripes of dark & light colors. In the street, a stagecoach sits, harnessed to six horses. The coach is decorated with flags & light colored strips of cloth. Seven men are sitting on the top of the coach & one more stand holding a large flag unfurled in the wind. Flag has 38 stars, three rows of eight & two rows of seven. People are standing on the porch of the Hotel, women in fancy clothes & hats & men in suits. More men stand in the street. Another buggy with four horses is on photo right. A man stands beside the horses & more are sitting inside the buggy. Buggy is decorated with smaller flags & more are held by people in the wagon & on the street. Street is wide dirt street. Building is the Wolf Hotel in Saratoga.
