Framed and matted (17x 21) is a photo of B of LF and E, 8th Annual Ball, Feb. 4, 1921. Men are identified on back of frame. Copy print on gray mat. Print size 9 3/4 x 7 3/4. Copy print on tan mat.

Large group of men wearing dark suits, white shirts, ties or neckties standing in five rows on a stage with background of a replica of a locomotive engine front with 8-87 in rectangular signs at top edge of engines front mounted to the sides of a large headlamp at top of engine. Two U. S. flags are hanging to either side behind engine with additional stage scenery to left and right backside . A tri-toned banner hangs across stage with letters B of LF and E in the center. The first row of men are seated on floor with legs crossed, two men in center are seated behind a small desk type box with a tall object with the number 87 on its front being held by a man on photo left. The second and third row of men are seated on stage platform floor. Rows four and five are standing. There is a natural division in the group to the left and right which is caused by the cowcatcher in the middle of the stage. Back of print is a typed list attached to the mat with names of men. Print is attached to dark gray matboard which measures 12" x 14." Print is in good condition with some fingerprints and soiling on the mat. There is a circular scratch on the right side of print. There is white print text on print from negative process on bottom left that reads 8th Annual Ball of B of L. F. & E-Feb 4th, 1921.

Copy of this print, except that it is attached to a beige matboard which measures 12" x 13 3/4" and has Rogner, Rawlins, Wyo embossed on bottom right corner of matboard. Copy is in good condition, but has white flecks and more soiling with fingerprints and residue than the one listed above on dark gray matboard.
Update 04/27/2013: Large photograph was unframed for conservation purposes. This photograph is stored: Archive, Flat File 3, Drawer 5. Measures approximately 16" x 20" unframed. Print is mounted on an acidic mat. which has been cut off even with the photograph. Stamped on the back of this print is Frank J. Meyers Dec. 10, 1963.
