Snowy Range Highway, May 26, 1939. Plowed snow on side of road.
Update 2/2010: Black and white print attached to white matboard which has been cut off on all edges except at top. Image shows a car parked on a dirt highway with high snow embankments on side left and right of roadbed and are visible in the distance. Evergreen trees are seen on top of right embankment an din distant background. Sky has enormous white clouds. Printed in black ink at lower left corner: "Snowy Range Hiway, May 26, 1939. Photo by F. H. Ferris." On back in black ink: "Snowy Range Hiway, May 26, 1939." "Collection given by Mrs. Corynne Ferris Warm, Rawlins, WY.
Good condition. Soiling on border top edge front and back. Orange glue residue at top center edge of print. Unknown black stain on emulsion side left. Few tiny black flecks at various locations.Collection
