5 B/W photographs copied from the Union Pacific archives:
a) Stock photo of UP locomotive #8444, a Northern-class locomotive. Back of photo has information on the locomotive, which is retired but occasionally used for excursion service.
b) Rawlins depot with a large group of men, women, and children standing in front of it, dated 1868. This photo is similar or identical to a number of other photos in the archives.
c) Aerial view of Rawlins. Date unknown, but likely 1950s or 1960s. The roundhouse and coal chute are still standing (they were burned c. 1970).
d) View of Point of Rocks, WY. No date. There is a narrow line of buildings along the railroad and several visible raised tanks.
e) Rock Springs depot, dated 1880. There are about half a dozen men sitting on the front porch of the depot, and there is a small 4-4-0 locomotive at left, numbered 53.Collection
