O'Neil wreck, May 8, 1900. One copy.
Update - March 2010: Black & white print attached to dark grey matboard and one copy print. Image shows an early day train steam engine with its attached cars derailed & on fire. Union Pacific is printed on side of engineer's cab. Individuals and groups of men are at train front, sides & rear working on picking up objects, four men are carrying a long canvas stretcher, & working on the fire. Wreck occurred in an arid area with sparse vegetation. Written on a white tag written in blue green ink: Cat. 4- No.444. Given by Mrs. Emily Mueller Douglas. Picture of a train wreck near Rawlins on U.P. Railroad, etc.
Written in pencil: O'Neil wreck - 1900.
Condition: Good. Mat is worn at all edges & corners. Small tear on mat at center front. Print has several dark scuffs & tiny dark spots. Other shadowy areas are seen.
Copy print. Written on back in black ink: U.P. Wreck.
Condition: Good. Image is darker than original. Flaws from original show on copy.
