Description

3 oversize photographs. a) 6.75"H x 16.5"W image of the Wyoming State Penitentiary. Probably dates from mid-1920s. The water tower and guard's quarters at the right side of the photo are complete but have stone and debris around them like construction was finished not long before. Photo by Rogner. b) 13"H x 16" W image of the Elks Lodge building, on the northwest corner of 4th Street and Buffalo Street. Photo is undated but similar to other photos in the museum collection. c) 13"H x 16" W image of the intersection of 3rd Street and Cedar Street, looking west. Dated 1923-24. The road is dirt and there are several vintage vehicles. The original Presbyterian church is on the left edge of the photo, and the F. M. Johnston Garage on the right side.
