Engine 1431. One copy. Update - March 2010: Black & white print attached to off white matboard which has been cut off resulting in irregular edges and one copy print. Image shows a black early day train engine with a cowcatcher on front. Attached to engine in a tender car loaded with coal with the #1431 on side of box & on front engine light. Standing between the coal car & the engine & an engineer is the window in the engineer's cab. A fortress looking rock formation is at background. Smoke is emanating from the train engine stack. Written on front is a leaf imprint from negative process in black ink: Engineer F. M. Daily; Fireman H. Mueller; Green River Sept 14, '95 Thayer Photo 3 Wheeler A two story building with dormer window on roof is at background right. Multiple railtrack are in foreground. Written on back in blue green ink: Property of Henry Muller. Given museum by his daughter Emily Muller Douglass. Condition: Fair. Print has many scuffs, scrapes, fingerprints, other soiling, indentions, scratches & surface irregularities. Mat of back is grimy along all edges & has black scuff marks. Copy print. Stamped on back in black ink: Copy provided by the Wyo Archives & Historical Dept. Condition: Good. Surface has a wavy, swirling emulsion, several scratches, & blemishes. Size 5 x 7 1/8"
