Update 2008: Black and white print. Oval studio portrait. Printed on large rectangular off white paper. Head and shoulders image of a man dressed in a dark suit, white shirt with starched, standup collar and light bow tie facing to the left side of image. He has short hair, long mustache.
Written on back in black ink: "Fenimore Chatterton Governor of Wyoming."
Written on back in blue ink: "Picture take 1900 or 1903" "3".
Written on back in pencil: "pate 95, pix 3 2 5/8 x2".
Lower edge torn approximately 1 inch long near left corner. Back surface missing near tear. Tear previously repaired with transparent tape. Corner damage. Soiled front and back; discolored at center print edge and lower left edge. Paper clip mark in upper edge near left corner.
One 5 1/8 x 3 1/2 copy print cropped to oval image. Written on back: [in pencil] "Fenimore" [in green ink] "Chatterton". Back slightly soiled.Collection
