5 photographs of the 2129th Company, Civilian Conservation Corps, Camp DG 74-W in Split Rock. All are dated July 26, 1939. a) Labelled "Work Shop", shows a large room with work counters on the left and right plus a wooden table in the middle. There are tools everywhere. b) No label, but appears to be barracks of some sort. Shows the interior of a long building, each side is lined with neatly made cots on metal frames. c) No label, but appears to be a mess hall. Shows the interior of a large building lined with wooden tables, each with 8 place settings. There are 3 men dressed in white just to the left of the center of the image, next to a serving counter. d) No label, but appears to show a general muster. There are 2 lines of men on the left, and they are all watching a man raising the American flag on a flagpole at the right side of the image. e) No label, but may be officer's quarters of some kind. There are 2 beds on the far left, but in the center is a man sitting at a large wooden desk, writing. There are storage cabinets along the wall on the right side. All the storage cabinets are labeled.
