Sepia print on cream mat & one copy. Image of a four horse team pulling a sled loaded with people. Lead two horses are light colored & back two are dark. People in the sled are dressed in coats & hats, many are women. A child stands behind the sled. More men stand on sidewalk behind sled. Fancy molding is on top front of building. A sign reads: "Bank". Large windows are in building front.
Written on back in blue ink: 1-bi An early day picture taken in front of the J. W. Hugus & Co Store at 5th & Cedar Streets. The sled belonged to William Daley. Some of those in sled are Mr. Luckfield, Mr. Emler, W. W. Daley, Annabelle Cannon, Clara Daley, Florence Daley, & Ella Daley. (Ferguson Building): "Mounted Copied by State 78 1/2%" On white adhesive tag: "buggies, wagons, etc"
Good condition. Marks on lower portion, rubbed. Size 7 5/8 x 9 1/2"
