Update 1/2008: A black and white glossy print of an older woman seated in a heavy wooden rocking chair outside holding two babies in her lap-one in each arm. The woman is wearing a light colored long sleeved dress with dark accent binding on collar edge, arm seam and pocket seam. Dress is midcalf length. Her legs are crossed at the ankles in front, and she is wearing a pair of dark colored, three strap shoes. She has a pull on type hat with her hair gathered up in the hat. The baby on the left is wearing a light colored outfit with long sleeves and white leggings. The baby on the right is wearing a long sleeved, long gown with two rows of inset lace and a single row of lace on dress bottom. In the foreground is grassy vegetation with broadleaf plants showing in the background along a short fence with shrubs on the far side. A white frame house with multipaned curved windows shows on far back right. Trees and other vegetation shows on far left.

The photo is in good condition. It has heavy wrinkling on the entire right side top and edge. Corners are bent and top left corner has slight tear. Backside of photo has large remnants of adhesive and black paper from a photo album page? which has caused dimpling on photo surface. There are tiny fine scratches in emulsion surface throughout photo as well as light fingerprints and slight soiling at various locations.Collection
