Black & white print. Snapshot. Image of 16 men posed in front of an arched iron-gated doorway in a stone building. Fourteen of the men are dressed in uniforms; two men are on each end of front row are dressed in suits. Vines cover the walls of the building on either side of the door.
Written on original negative at center bottom: "Guards Wyoming Penitentiary Rawlins Wyo."
Written on back: [black ink] "Front row - Alex McPherson" [pencil] "Kiefer? last on right in front"
Post - note found on photo & removed; "Page 152 Pic 5".
Badly yellowed & stained. Left edge torn above & below center; corner damage - emulsion cracked in lower left corner. Emulsion cracked at center bottom & upper right; bent at center. Back slightly soiled.
Used as mystery photo in 2012 but no other identifications.Collection
