A Little Hot Pot, Crest of Jupiter Terrace, Yellowstone Park Raching the summit of the first level of the gigantic jupiter Terrace, one is amazed as he looks out across the acres of glistening white deposit, punctured here and there by steaming or boiling pools of water of the most exquisite kinds of blue and green. Each pool has from one to many outlet riverlests, each bordered by the most delicate forms of mineral strocture whose exposed edges and surfaces have successfully vied with various species of shells and corals not only in gracefulness of minute outline but in delicacy and richness of coloring. Even ornamented beatles and gorgeous butterflies are here excelled in brillliancy of coloring and in graceiousness of form. One vainly searches the sky at (unreadable) and again sunset for colors and (unreadable) equal to those found in the (unreadable) of these hot springs. Reluctantly we turna away from the steeaming pool, with its entrancing (unreadable); but the glittering, steaming expanses and the higher levels lure (unreadable). Sometimes, in nervous haste, we (unreadable) from one spring to another, calling each in succession the most interesting of them all. Indeed the wonders of the (unreadable) continually multiply in our minds as we extend our observations and get (unreadable) equaited with the phenoema. Copyright 1909. by Keystone View Company.
