Unknown persons on cart with donkey "Twist My Tail".
Update 2008: Black and white print attached to medium gray matboard. Print shows a dirt road in foreground with a donkey wearing a pair of pants on its front legs. donkey is hitched to a wagon made from vintage wheelbarrow with large metal wheels in back . A white sign is on the donkey's mid back that reads "Twist My Tail." There is a man sitting in the wheelbarrow holding on to the reins. he is dressed in a paisley print long sleeved garment and head covering that hangs down in back. A dark bowler type hat sits atop his head covering. he has a wooden paddle in his right hand. A group of young children and men are standing on corner and on wooden sidewalk in background in front of a white wooden building with a sign on side top that reads: Millinery". Two large wooden utility type poles are seen in background left.
Condition is good. Matboard is soiled, worn and discolored on all edges. Back mat has orange brown stains on bottom left edges and side. Minor scratches in emulsion surface at various locations. There are small white blemishes from negative process on side left front and right center. Shadows on print appear to be from negative process. Tiny fleck of brown substance side left print.Collection
