Black & white print. Snapshot. Image of a large group of people gathered on the steps of an ornate stone building to witness the presentation of a trophy. Woman & man standing on either side of a large trophy - an eagle with outstretched wings on a ball - sitting on a small table at front of group. An American flag is draped on table.
Original #1: 9 3/8 x 14 1/16" Written on back: {pencil] "Colliers Trophy presented to State thru Governor Ross" [black ink] "No 27".
Back soiled. Cut down from original size - no border at bottom. Upper corners torn off - left missing. One inch tear in upper edge at right. Lower left corner bent & torn - emulsion cracked & lifted; piece missing. Emulsion cracked in places throughout; slightly soiled.
Original #2: 9 5/8 x 14. Written on back in blue ink: "[cut off] receiving the Colliers Trophy - When Nellie Ross was Governor of Wyo. W. W. Daley in the front row checked." Written on the emulsion at the left on the man to left of presentation; he is holding his hat in his left hand.
Written on lower right corner in black ink: "S. L. Ebay"
Back soiled. Cut down from original size - writing cut off on back & in lower right front. Missing lower left corner; large tear above missing area. Upper left corner missing; upper edge torn & bent left of center. Emulsion cracked in upper left & upper right. Emulsion soiled & scratched.Collection
