Photo of man in uniform but is unknown.
Update 2008: Black and white print attached to an ivory matboard with gold gilt on the edge sides . Studio print shows a young man dressed in a Military Uniform with medium colored pants, white leather gloves, dark military jacket with five button closure, leather outer belt with U.S. engraved on buckle. His uniform hat has front bill with crossed cannon insignia (field artillery re: The Officer's Guide, 1942, pg. 158_ A long saber is at his left side. Back drop for photo is a painted scene of trees on left, a rutted road, and grain field with small structure in background. He is standing on a mat of fake grass. At bottom edge of print on mat is a tiny decorative border with faded stamp of Brown on left side and Rawlins, Wyo. on right.
Good condition. Slightly soiled front and back with smudges around edge and on surfaces. Fine scratches throughout top surface emulsion with indentation in emulsion center front. Tiny black speck of residue center side right.Collection
