Day Book by William Jungquist, July 1, 1897 to 1901. Large tan leather book with red borders. Printed in gold letters on spine: Journal. Written on inside page: Day Book of Wm. Jungquist. Use most likely for his hardware store in Rawlins. Handwritten entries. 10 1/2 x 16 x 3 inches. Good condition. Leather cover loose on front. Some wear and soiling. Overage folder contains: a page of items sold (wagon, bucket grease, nails. paint, wagon wheels, etc.); bill from Peerless Steel Range Works, 6/6/1900; daybook page 309, entry for Rendle Brothers, 9/3/1900; bill from Schill Bros. Co. Furnaces and Steel Ranges, 9/24/1900; scrap ledger paper with notes referring to loan account 1896-1897 and reference to page 103, 5/27/1902 in Day Book re: note to Rawlins National Bank and paid; ledger page 415 re: a statement of cash withdrawal from Rawlins Naitonal Bank from 6/1/1903 to 9/3/1903 when Ferris loan was taken by William Jungquist.Collection
