Appears to be an explosion or Oil Well fire.
Update July 2011: Black & white print. Image of a huge, high & dark billows of smoke going almost straight up into the sky. Near the ground, smoke is lighter colored or possibly intermingled with flames. Whatever is burning is obscured by the smoke. In the foreground is a barrel & wood containers of various sizes on flat ground. Hills are seen in the distance.
Printed in a purple oval on back:: "Good Kodak Finishing, Rawlins, Wyo".
Written in pencil: "D C X necessary 100 Screen, Republican, Rawlins, Wyo."
Good condition. Scratched, creased, accretion, curled.
