A Cheyenne Native American doll with papoose. The baby doll is wrapped in red trade cloth and suspended from the neck of the "mother" doll by a small leather string. The "mother" doll is wearing a tan leather dress with fringe at sleeves and lower edges. White, blue, green geometric beaded design is at bodice and sleeves. A beaded belt is at waist and two rows of beaded trim is at lower edges of dress. She is wearing beaded moccasins which have upturned toes. The papoose and doll have dark horsehair. The baby's hair is in braids, and the mother's long hair is wildly askew. The doll has a beaded face and long beaded loop earrings in yellow and blue beads. Doll measures 11" tall, and the papoose is 3."Collection
