Black & white print. Snapshot. Image of a man & woman in an archaeological excavation. Man is squatting next to an excavation wall & pointing to changes in the strata of the earth. A trowel is at his feet at center bottom. Woman is on her hands & knees in an upper level of the excavation examining a skeleton.
Written on the back: [pencil] "43615" [black ink] "1960" "Dr. Agogino, pointing to chips in excavation wall. Those may be fairly recent or may be Two Creeks (Pleistocene age, at the Folsom cultural level. The black muck below is Markato age (Clovis cultural level) where the mammoth bones & clovis point were found."
