First Air Mail received in Rawlins, Aug. 15, 1921. Update 1/2008: Black and white panoramic print. Image of a group of people posed in front of a biplane (two-winged aircraft) that is parked in front of a hanger. 16 men, 4 women, 2 girls, 1 baby. Rolling prairie can be seen in right background. Aug 16, 1921-Rogner-" Original: Lower left corner missing large piece; upper left side missing piece; left side diagonally cracked in many placed with vertical cracks in upper left side; large crack previously mended with transparent tape that has yellowed badly-large area of emulsion missing along crack where tape has come off. Pin holes in upper left and right corners. Upper right corner bend and cracked. Emulsion cracked in lower right and center right side. Soiled front and back.
