Update 2008: Black and white print attached to beige matboard. Mat has gilt around all outer edges .Print is a studio shot with painted scenery background of trellises and draperies and wall borders On left is a large pilaster with large urn on top base. Center of print shows a group of young men sitting and standing around a center support based round table smoking cigars, playing cards, wearing hats (two wearing black top hats) bottles of liquor in an upside down dark hat in the foreground. A bottle of liquor is sitting on table at right and a young man is holding a dark bottle of liquor on side left with two crystal goblets nearby him on table. Some of the men have numbers or letters written above their heads in pencil. Man in center has a sheriff's type badge peeking out from behind his coat attached to vest. Some men are showing cards in their hand under the table.

Fair condition. Print and matboard are extremely soiled with fingerprints, dark marks, stains, flecks, residue on print and edges, red pencil broken line from top to bottom side left on print surface. Print is faded and has several blurred areas. Several scratches and indentations in emulsion. Matboard back surface has the same issues as top: fingerprints, soiling, dark marks, smudges and residue. Slight tear at mat at side corners.
