Update 2008: Black and white print attached to taupe colored matboard. Mat has textured outer border Studio print is of two older women and younger woman holding a baby. Studio backdrop shows vine covered moulding on stained glass window. Fake drapes are on side right. Older woman on left is seated. She has center parted gray hair pulled back behind her head. She is wearing a floor length black dress with long sleeves, ruffled bodice and high neck collar. Another older woman is standing next to her at back. She has graying hair in an updo and is wearing a long black dress with small pin tacks at bodice with tiny white lace trim at seam, white lace collar and belt with white pen closure. Tiny lace trim is on sleeve at mid and lower areas of bottom arm. A young woman is seated on outer right side. She is wearing a dark floor length dress with pin tucks in fabric surface. It has a high collar and long sleeves. Her dark hair is in an updo. She is holding a baby dressed in a long white christening gown.
Matboard is stained at bottom left with unknown residue. Mat is soiled with smudges on sides and lower area. Print has stain on side left with scratches at top half in emulsion, bottom and side right.
Written on back in blue green ink: Left to right: Mrs. Annie, her daughter Mrs. Seelye, her daughter Effie Seelye Edwards, Hope Edwards. Four generations.
There is a reprint which was printed off center with white strip on side left, 3 1/2 x 5"
