Post Card Photo of funeral services for Emily Erickson, Aug. 30, 1923. Group and casket are outside.
Update 2008: Black and white glossy print postcard of standing and sitting men, women and children outside forming a semi circle around a floral draped casket in center. A large circle spray of flowers is placed on ground at front of casket. Casket appears to be propped on sawhorse at slight angle. A treed area is in distance back left and a white wooden framed house is on back side right. Weedy sparse vegetation is on ground front foreground. Printed in white on print from vegetative at center front bottom edge: Emily at Rest. Women are dressed in long skirts and dresses. Aman at rear right side is wearing black three-quarter length coat and holding a black book in his hand. A lady on side left front row is wearing dark hat and dark dress.
Written on back at side left in black ink: Emily Erickson funeral Aug. 30th, 1920.
Stamped on back at center top: Post Card. Made in Canada. Stamped left: Correspondence. Stamped right: Address. Stamped far right corner: Stamp placement.
Good condition. Slight soiling and abrasion at back and top surfaces and all edges and corners. Large crack in emulsion on surface top locations. Bent corners. Several scratch marks and indentations side left and right.Collection
