5X7 West of Rawlins. Billboard states: Take the COOL Route West. Reno, Lake Tahoe, Harolds Club, Harolds Club or bust written across a covered wagon.
Update 2008: Black and white print taken during blizzard of 1949 showing deep snow and large billboard that has a road map route on left and a covered wagon on right. it reads: Take the cool route West (40) (30) Reno Lake Tahao Harold's Club. Written on side of covered wagon: Harolds Club or Bust. On left of sign is a concrete Lincoln Highway Marker with a reflecting arrow. Sagebrush is at base of marker.
Written on back of photo in pencil: West of Rawlins.
Photo is in good condition. it has slight soiling on all four edges and visible holes and marks from where staples were taken out . Visible cracks in emulsion on side left and center. There are white spots and white lines from negative on surface. Small cracks and scratches in emulsion throughout top of print. Slight remnants of yellow adhesive on back side corner.Collection
