Update - January 2010: Black & white print studio portrait oval. Two originals. Mounted on black matboard. Image of a family - man, woman, three children in front of painted backdrop. Man & woman are seated with the children standing behind them. Man is dressed in a 3-piece dark suit; dark tie & white shirt. Two boys are in suits - youngest in a tweed; oldest in a dark pattern coat; both wearing ties & white shirts. Woman is wearing a patterned dress with dark lace collar, placard & cuffs; she has a small dark bow in her hair. Young woman is wearing a light patterned dress with a high collar. Both women have their hair pinned up.
Embossed in gold in upper left corner of mat: "The Ferris Studio".
Embossed at center bottom: [tipi] Rawlins, WYO."

Mounted on acidic matboard. Edges & corner damage. Mat surface scuffed & soiled. Image surface scratched & scuffed.

Daley - & Family - Irene daughter" [white pencil] "The Boys - Richard (Earl) & Irving Daily[.] Girl - Irene Daily[sic]-(Riford)[.] I do not know which son was Richard & which was Irving-" [black ink] "copied" [pencil] "Earl Irving Irene" [black ink] "copied by State".
Written in pencil on white adhesive label pasted to back: "Daley #1"
Mounted on acidic matboard. Corner & edge damage. Liquid damage on top & bottom edges & halfway up both sides. Mat soiled & scuffed. Image surface soiled & scuffed.
