Photo of Charlie Jackson, Mrs. Jackson and Marion. Mrs. Jackson was an Edwards. Update 2008: Black and white print attached to black tagboard which as etched white script at bottom right: Chast 56 W 2nd South, Salt Lake City, Utah. Studio portrait depicts a seated man on left dressed in dark suit with white shirt with stiff high neck collar and light patterned tie. he has medium dark short hair with a left pose. He has bushy dark eyebrows and wears wire rimmed glasses. He is holding a young girl with medium colored hair styled with small ringlets with white ribbon at he right crown side. She has light colored eyes and is wearing a ruffly lace trimmed cotton floral patterned dress with tiny pin tucks at center front. Wide collar is very full. A woman with dark hair in updo with white flower on crown left has dark eyes. She is wearing a fancy dark dress with white ruffles rising between black soutache braid at bodice front. Dress has a high neck white gathered collar. Arm sleeve appears to be textured net fabric. Matboard has a silk texture to outside edges . It has stains of brown and white substances on backside as well as smudges. There is an indentation on back from logo on front. Wear on all corners. Print itself has some abrasion of emulsion at edges. Fine rust in emulsion over entire surface are seen when viewed with magnifier. Tiny black speck at top left corner. Written on back in blue green ink: Charlie Jackson. Mrs. Charles Jackson. Marion Jackson. Written on back in black ink: Mrs. Jackson was an Edwards. Update July 2011: Black & white copy print. Written on back in blue ink: "Charlie Jackson, Mrs. Charlie Jackson, Marion Jackson" Printed in black: "Copy Provided by the Wyoming State Archives & Historical Department" Good condition. Rigged emulsion, wrinkled. Size 5 x 6 7/8"
