Mrs. D. V. Bell, women in uniform with guns, Girl Cadets
Update - January, 2010: A black & white print attached to a cream colored image shows a group of girls dressed in a uniform (skirt with three horizontal rows of white border on lower edge, blouse with three vertical rows of white trim at bodice center and military caps with emblem on crown). The girls are in a horizontal row crouched in firing position with rifles at their shoulder & hands on barrel for support. Their elbows are resting on knees. A woman stands at side left of row with her arms at her sides. A multistory/brick house with center door & two tall windows on each side is at background right. A short white picket fence is behind the girls. There is an abrupt drop from the ground where the girls are to the street. Other houses are seen background left with hills in the far background.
