Photo about 1905-06. Note: Harry McFarland Grocery Store just north of alley on west side of 300 block of 5th St. Shrine Parade.
Update - January 2010: Black & white print snapshot. Mounted on light grey matboard. Image of donkey pulling a vintage wheelbarrow down a dirt street. Man in a dark suit & Shriner"s fez is pushing the donkey along. Donkey is dressed in pants on it's front legs & has a sign over it's back: "Twist my tail". Appears to be part of a parade. In the background is a group of buildings defining an intersection of two dirt streets - sign above corner building appears to read "MODEL MARKET" Sign in far right background out of focus but appears to read: "Harry L. McFarland Groceries & Fresh Meats". Printing anomaly at right side of image.
Written on the back side in pencil: "Photograph about 1905-1906 - NOTE: Harry McFarland Grocery Store just north of alley on west side of 300 block of 5th St."
Mat has indented "frame" outlining image.
Mounted on acidic matboard. Slight corner damage; slightly warped; slightly soiled. Image surface scratched.Collection
