Update - January 2010: Black & white print snapshot. Mounted on grey matboard. Shriner's parade moving down a dirt street. Men in front of parade are wearing dark pants and long coats. One has a dark derby hat and one is wearing women's fancy hat with flowers on the brim. In the third row the man on the outside of row is wearing a Knights Templar fez and several other men all wearing women's hats. A man in the center frow has a white woman's dress over his pants and jacket, and a dark flat type brimmed woman's hat on his head. His right leg appears wrapped in a bandage. There is a man in a nightgown? with an apron over it, and a stocking cap on his head. At the end of the procession is a glass? and chicken wire enclosed booth with what appears to be someone seated in it, men and boys are walking to the side of it. A large tank with men seated on the top of it are at the end of the ling. The Carbon County Courthouse is in back of the photo with its three chimneys and widow walk showing on roof. The Mattas Saddlery is in right foreground. The window of the saddle shop has "saddles" painted in window. There is a white wooden house between it and the courthouse. The men are marching up the dirt road in front of these buildings.
Mat is patterned boarder with raised inner "frame" around image. Engraved in the lower right corner of mat: "The Ferris Studio Rawlins, WYO".

Mounted on acidic matboard. Liquid stain in upper right corner; overall slightly soiled. Slight edge & corner damage. Image scratched through center.Collection
