Photo of Roosevelt's visit to Rawlins, June 1903. Update - January 2010: 2 copies of black & white print. Snapshot. Mounted on dark grey matboard. Image of a group of men & women on the steps of a stone building. The rear end of saddled light colored horse at foreground center. American flags hanging out the window at left. Man standing at center, wearing a hat, appears to be Theodore (Teddy) Roosevelt. 1. Written on back in blue ink: "1903 - when Teddy Roosevelt visited Rawlins." Engraved in the lower right corner mat: "The Popular Studio" Mounted on acidic matboard. Slight corner damage. Mat front & image surface scuffed. 2. Written on back in black ink: "No 5" Engraved in the lower left corner on mat: "The Popular Studio". Mounted on acidic matboard. Corner & edge damage. Slightly soiled front & back. Image surface scratched.
