Written on back in black ink: "July 28-90" "Lest Erb tour guide on Overland Trail guided tour from Rawlins, Wy via Sulphur Springs station finally arriving at the trail crossing near Saratoga. This may have been the last original station at Bridger Pass on the Overland Emigrant Trail 1862-69-known locally as old Black Gus's cabin. He was a black smith[sic] at Fort Halleck[sic] Overland Trail"
