Update 2008: Black and white oval print attached to beige matboard of James Rendle. Written in pencil on right side lower mat: Jukes 1907. A dark shadow of 1/4 inch surrounds the oval print. Portrait shows a man with dark hair parted on left side, wearing rimless glasses, dark jacket, vest, tie and white shirt with collar folded over necktie. A tie tack is seen at knot front.
Written on back in blue green ink: Jim Rendle.
Matboard is very soiled with smudges, black and brown specks on front and back of malt of residue, water stains at top and bottom edges. Corners and edges are all worn with bends in corners. Print has minor scratches in emulsion with some abrasions on bottom and sides of print.Collection
