Written on back in black ink: "Wyoming Historical Society Trek, July 28-1990[.] This location-Sulphur Springs was a "home" station on the Overland Emigrant Trail. This trail was a successor to the Oregon California Trail which paralleled this one earlier in the century (1849-1862)[.] The Trek was conducted by Ann Brenning Brown-Laramie, Wy; Lester D. Erb-:Littleton, Co.[sic] Debbie Chastain-Saratoga W.Y.[sic] Carol and Bill Daley-Laramie W.Y.[sic] Don R. Brown-Laramie Wy[.]"
