Hard back ledger, black cover with red on spine and corners, on inside of cover is stamped "135 U-G", Red Cross Pledge book, the first page has the alphabet with page numbers, each letter had own page numbers, the pages have 14 columns, at the top is the letter and "Monthly Pledge Collections", the columns are labeled "Amount Pledged", "-1918-", then the months in order, in the second column are people's names, found within the pages are envelopes (two) each with a different return address-"American Red Cross, Carbon County Chapter, Rawlins, Wyoming" and "Return in Five Days to Rawlins Electric Light and Fuel Company Ralwins, Wyoming", each envelope has handwritten names and notes on them, a folded up ledger sheet with names and numbers, one yellow paper that has a reciept on one side for insurance and handwritten names and notes about pledges, three deposit slips from Rawlins National Bank for Red Cross, a piece of paper titled "Instructions on Xmas Packages for our Men in France" written by "Stella Junquist, Secretary Carbon County Chapter", on the back are hand written notes with names and dollar amounts, small green leather ledger titled "The First National Bank, Rawlins, Wyo., In Account with American National Red Cross", inside are dates and dollar amounts, one white sheet of paper with hand written names and dollar amounts having to do with donations, on letter with the letterhead "Fort Steele Mercantile Co., A. Dwight Sager, Mgr., Fort Steele, Wyo. 12-5 1918", it reads, "Miss Stella Jungquist Secy[sic] Red Cross, I planned to be in Rawlins Monday, but unable to go so guess it is been to send order for my pledge- enclosed find $5.00 which will pay to the new year, Sincerely, Mrs. A.D. Sager", one small stack of 5 papers attached to eachother with brad, it is titled "Rawlins National Bank, Red Cross Pledges", it lists names, dollar amounts and has check marks, small stack of three papers attached to eachother by brad, it is titled "Red Cross Pledges", there are names, dollar amounts and check marks.
