Update 6/2010: Black and white studio portrait on brown mat of a young girl sitting on a wood chair. She is wearing a dark dress with embroidery around skirt bottom. White stockings and dark lace up shoes cover her legs and feet. Her hair is cut short, parted in the middle and combed down. The chair has a high back of decorative carved wood with spindles on corners. It is setting next to a table with large print floor length tablecloth. Written on back in black ink: "Ida Hetzler Rivera, Mother of Ruth, Ada,& Carmen". "Mrs. Ruby Rivera taken when a baby." "Carmen Louise Rivera Petersen 3rd daughter 1914".
Condition good. Silvering, emulsion impacted, print coming off mat, rubbed, mat has been cut down.Collection
