Sheriff Rubie Rivera and Bill Carlisle, April, 1916. Update 9/2008: A black and white matte look print 5" x 6 3/4", of Sheriff Rubie Rivera and Union Pacific train robber, William Carlisle on the steps of the Carbon County Court House steps, April 1916. Written on back Dad and Train Robber Carlyle. Sheriff Rivera is wearing a three piece suit, a bow tie, a light colored western style hat and dark lace shoes. He has a dark mustache. His left wrist is handcuffed to the right wrist of William Carlisle, who is dressed in an ill fitted three piece suit with a shorter necktie and with his vest unbuttoned. He is wearing a dark hat with a narrow brim and laced shoes.
Update March 2011: 2nd black & white print of two men that are handcuffed together standing on steps. Man on left is wearing a textured three piece suit, shirt, bow tie & hat. Man on right is wearing a dark three piece suit with vest unbuttoned, shirt, tie & dark hat.
Written on back in black ink: "Dad & train robber Carlyle Wm Carlyle - UP train robber & Rubie Rivera, sheriff on Carbon County Court house Steps April 1916"
